About

“You don’t take a photograph,
you make it.”
-Ansel Adams

Kayla is a 2007 graduate of the Hallmark Institute of Photography who brings timeless moments to life through thoughtful, on-location portraiture. Whether she’s capturing the soulful eyes of a beloved pet or the quiet emotion of a candid scene, her work transforms memories into individual works of art.

With a foundation in patience, creativity, and a go-with-the-flow approach, Kayla focuses on photographing genuine expression — the kind of portraits that feel alive long after they’re taken. Her mission is to make photography approachable and meaningful, offering pet portraits, custom sessions, and photography education throughout the greater Coachella Valley and Palm Springs area.

Animals have always been a source of comfort and peace for Kayla, especially while living with stage IV endometriosis. That bond began in childhood and continues to shape her work today. Photography allows her to memorialize that connection — capturing the warmth, companionship, and healing that animals bring into our lives.

Today, that same compassion fuels her work. Through her camera, Kayla honors the relationships that bring us comfort, the lessons nature quietly teaches, and the love that makes life a little softer. She is dedicated to expanding photographic and pet services across the Coachella Valley — celebrating the deep connection between people, pets, and the art of photography.
